Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], August 20 (ANI): BRS Working President and former minister KT Rama Rao on Monday slammed the Congress government in Telangana over sudden internet outages in Hyderabad.
Rao accused the Revanth Reddy-led administration of acting without planning.
He claimed that TGSPDCL was cutting internet cables without prior notice, affecting lakhs of users, disrupting work-from-home setups, and creating chaos in daily life.

In a post on X, KT Rama Rao wrote, “Elect a clown, expect a circus! TGSPDCL is snapping internet cables across Hyderabad without any intimation to ISPs or customers. Social media is flooded with aggrieved netizens expressing anguish.”
“Lakhs of internet users hit. WFH disrupted. Daily life in chaos. If there’s an issue with cables, there must be a proper process. But a clueless Revanth Govt resorts to such knee-jerk actions,” the post read.
A day earlier, BRS Working President and former minister KT Rama Rao accused the Congress government in Telangana of driving away significant industrial investments due to what he called its “administrative incompetence and corrupt governance”, a PRO statement said.
In a scathing attack on the Congress party, KTR expressed anguish over the relocation of Kaynes Technology’s Rs 2,800 crore semiconductor investment project from Telangana to Gujarat.
“The project, originally expected to generate 2,000 direct jobs for local youth, has now been shifted due to the Congress government’s failure to retain investor confidence,” he alleged.
“The Revanth Reddy-led government has not even responded to the exit of a project we worked hard to bring here during the BRS rule. This is nothing short of betrayal to the youth of Telangana,” KTR said in a release.
KTR called the exit of Kaynes Technology a “wake-up call” and warned that many more companies could leave if the government doesn’t shift its focus back to industrial development. “Revanth Reddy must open his eyes and realise that Telangana’s future is at stake. If he continues down this path, the exodus of industries will only accelerate,” KTR cautioned. (ANI)
